The promoters of SLAM Universities, Enrique Martín and Juan Antonio Perteguer, received the prestigious international award NY AWARDS 2019 for the best educational project at the NY SUMMIT event. This award has also been granted to leading institutions such as Real Madrid and the Luther King Foundation, as well as outstanding personalities in the world of politics, sports, music and entertainment such as Kathleen Kennedy, Ndaba Mandela, Fernando Alonso, Carlos Baute, Nieves Álvarez, Jesús Calleja, or the hit Spanish series “Money Heist”, among others.
This event is organized by the Inspiring Committed Leaders Foundation, a non-profit non-governmental organization that works on the implementation of projects in the areas of social, political, economic and educational-cultural participation in the United States, Latin American and European countries, with the aim of creating equal opportunities.
This international recognition is a decisive and fundamental accolade for SLAM International, the only educational institution designed for students with high intellectual, artistic and sporting abilities. It’s educational model is centered on a holistic approach, which aims to personalize the curriculum to each student’s unique talents, interests and abilities. To develop its project, SLAM has an expansive campus of more than 20 million square meters in the heart of the Sierra de Guadarrama. The International School, SLAM School and the Santo Tomás University are all integrated into this space.
