Characteristics of the SAT exam

What is the structure and duration of the SAT Exam?

  • Reading Test: 65 minutes
  • Writing and Language Test: 35 minutes
  • Math Test (no calculator): 25 minutes
  • Math Test (with calculator): 55 minutes
  • Essay (optional): 50 minutes
